This article is a report from the book "Introduction to the Science of Islamic Nafs". The author of the book, Osman Nejati, in his latest published book, has tried to examine how to take steps towards the production of Islamic psychology with a preliminary statement. The book is in Arabic and consists of seven chapters. The research method is descriptive-analytical (it is a desk research). In the first chapter, he defines and examines the terms expressing the science of Islamic psychology and discusses the history of each term. In the second chapter, he analyzes important theories about the nature and sources of knowledge and presents his Islamic view on this issue. In the third chapter, he examines the current situation of psychology education in Islamic universities and in the fourth chapter, he deals with the establishment stages of Islamic psychology. In the fifth chapter, he criticizes the current contemporary psychology according to Islamic principles and in the sixth chapter, he deals with the assumptions of Islamic psychology as the first positive step in this direction. The present book, in addition to the positive points such as innovation and creativity, has drawbacks that have been reviewed in terms of method, form and content in this article.
