The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of religion-oriented cognitive behavioral therapy on quality of life, happiness, and marital conflicts. This research employed a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group. The statistical population consisted of all couples experiencing marital conflicts who referred to counseling centers in Mashhad in 2024. From this population, 30 individuals were purposefully selected and randomly assigned to the experimental group (n = 15) and the control group (n = 15). Data were collected using the World Health Organization Quality of Life Questionnaire, the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire (Argyle, Martin, & Crossland), and the Marital Conflicts Questionnaire (Sanaei Zaker & Barati). The experimental group received religion-oriented cognitive behavioral therapy in 10 weekly sessions of 90 minutes each over two months, while the control group received no intervention. Data analysis was performed using multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) with SPSS version 26. The findings revealed a significant difference between the two groups in posttest scores of quality of life, happiness, and marital conflicts. Religion-oriented cognitive behavioral therapy was found to enhance quality of life and happiness while reducing marital conflicts. Based on these results, this approach can be utilized to strengthen family foundations and improve marital relationships
