Cancer in children can seriously harm the mental health of mothers. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a multidimensional spiritual therapy on the hope of mothers with children with cancer. The statistical population included mothers with children with cancer in 2023-2024 who referred to doctors' offices in Yazd city. 30 people were selected as the sample group using convenience sampling method and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups (15 people in the experimental group and 15 people in the control group). The experimental group received ten 90-minute sessions of multidimensional spiritual therapy training by an Islamic psychology specialist. In this study, the Islamic Hope Scale was implemented. The results showed that the mean of the hope in the experimental group increased after the training. According to the results, it can be concluded that giving meaning to suffering with a multidimensional spiritual therapy approach is effective on the hope of mothers with children with cancer.
