Human talents, with all of similarities and variations in their type and amount, are indicative of the existence of a positive capability within human being. The goal of sending prophets was to actualize this human capability. This research aimed to identify the types of talent from Islam’s perspective based of the Hadith of armies of wisdom and ignorance. This was a qualitative thematic analysis study. Purposive sampling method was applied. The Hadith of armies of wisdom and ignorance consists of set of positive human capabilities which were selected in order to identify Types of talents according to Islam. After collecting data, coding began and the data were analyzed. Research findings showed 156 basis themes, 71 organizing themes, and 5 comprehensive themes. The 5 comprehensive themes include: intellectual talent, motivational-effective talent, relational talent, spiritual talent, and financial-economic talent; these are types of talents according to Islam. In addition, results showed that among these five talents, intellectual talent was the most evident and the most effective; relational talent has a wider conceptual domain.
