In the Islamic intellectual system, marital love is not a mere passing emotion, but a sacred and systematic bond that is rooted in cognition, morality, and faith. The most common theory of marital love is Sternberg's theory, the main weakness of which is the reductionism of marital love to material issues and the neglect of the true purpose of the couple's bond. The present study aims to explain the fundamental components of marital love and present a comprehensive conceptual model based on Islamic sources. The method used in this study is qualitative content analysis with a triple coding approach (open, axial, and selective), during which themes related to couples' emotional relationships were extracted and classified from the verses and narrations. The findings of this analysis show that the conceptual model of marital love in Islam consists of three main layers: "infrastructural components", "action components", and "consolidating components", and two sub-layers: "mediating mechanisms" and "post-process components".
