This was done with the aim of conceptualizing self-compassion based on the Makarem al-Akhlaq prayer of Sahifa al-Sajjadiyah and its commentary and research by the Research Institute for Islamic Studies. The research method was a qualitative analysis of religious texts in five steps: systematic observation of the text, immersion in the content, extraction and formulation, validation and revision. The analysis of the prayer passages was carried out into five main components: 1) compassionate self-acceptance in dealing with weaknesses, 2) self-correction without self-punishment, 3) self-concept regulation (avoiding self-aggrandizement and humiliation), 4) divine care of moral and psychological needs, and 5) spiritual mindfulness of attention to presence. Then, a model of self-awareness was drawn: moving from self-awareness of weaknesses, to compassionate acceptance and correction, then self-concept regulation and existential care, and finally, in the light of attention to God, psychological relationship and moral growth. The validation was conducted with a qualitative method of accumulation based on the principle of "accumulation of suspicion" in Islamic epistemology, which emphasizes the synergy of interpretive evidence and conceptual coherence. This model can be used as a native model for understanding self-compassion in Islamic texts and analytically for psychological studies and designing spiritually-based interventions.
