Abstract
This research aimed to design and define the dimensions of the community-oriented psychological empowerment model based on the verses of the Holy Quran. The research method was qualitative, utilizing content analysis with an inductive approach. The Quranic verses were used as the unit of context for data collection. After qualitative data analysis using content analysis methodology, the dimensions and components of community-oriented psychological empowerment were extracted and organized into four major categories: "resources," "contexts," "components," and "outcomes." The resources of empowerment were divided into two categories: sustainable and unsustainable. The contexts included foundational factors, facilitating factors, and sustaining factors. Additionally, individual and social barriers were identified. The components of empowerment included a sense of competence, a sense of control and mastery, self-efficacy, a sense of impact, positive social interactions, perseverance on the path to excellence, wisdom, psychological-spiritual drive, divine empowerment, and responsibility. The outcomes were also divided into individual and social categories. The findings of this research show that the community-oriented psychological empowerment model based on the verses of the Holy Quran offers a comprehensive and coherent framework for understanding and explaining the components of empowerment from the perspective of Quranic teachings.
