Agreeable family performance requires couples’ sound communication; this communication demands a sound interactional model. This study conducted in order to construct principles of interactions of couples and family and to offer a sound communication model. This research is the result of analysis of religious texts (Qur'an and Hadith), and findings of psychology; its method is content analysis. According to the study findings, the principles governing the relationship between couples and family members’ interaction are as: "common truth", "consistency in talent perfection", "gender differences", "gender roles", "tendency to balance", and "transcendentalism". Couples and family’s sound interaction is shaped on the basis of "love and power" model which is based on the role and the need. Empowering and seeking love describe female need and role. Giving love and seeking authority depict male need and role. This interactional model is realized with women’s receptivity and charming and men’s love and support. According to this model, the position of family authority is more to make children responsible and the position of family love is more to answer children’s emotional needs.
