The purpose of this paper was to explain “action” as the functional field of multi-dimensional spiritual therapy and to examine its effectiveness on the dimensions of psychological problems among anxious clients. The study methods were analysis of religious text and examining the effectiveness of multidimensional spiritual therapy with semi-experimental method and control group, using multidimensional life’s structured questionnaire and Beck Anxiety Scale, which were conducted on a sample of anxiety clients of some counseling centers. Study findings show that according to the analysis of religious texts (Quran and Hadith) what makes the nature of man in general is the analysis and activation of “action” and in the final positive form, is the “spiritual action” of clients. An accountable action is the one that it is possible to manage its components and orders in a voluntary manner. In the current study, using multidimensional spiritual psychotherapy, by regulating and adjusting action or voluntary functioning of man and its related issues and activation of spiritual action (particularly theo-feedback and God-inclined wisdom), psychological problems of anxious clients in seven dimensions (behavioral, effective, sensory, mental imagery, cognitive, relationship, and biology/life style) have decreased in comparison to control group (P<0/0001). Also, anxiety level of experiment group significantly reduced in comparison to control group (P<0/0001). Clinical observa-tions and clients’ reports showed that theo-feedback activates the God-inclined wisdom and adjusts one’s functioning, and transcends the “spiritual action”. Thus, with regulating one’s action in various dimensions and transcending it one could prevail on those life problems of anxious people that subjectively are out of their control. The logic of this treatment in a variety of problems dictates that this should be considered as a transdiagnostic treatment.
